Sugar And This Week's Ratings

When I mentioned somewhere else that I spent the day yesterday cleaning dog poop out of the yard, someone said, "I didn't know you had a dog." Well, that gives me an opportunity to show everyone a picture of my Black Lab, Sugar, this morning. My Amazon Ratings are below the picture.

This Week’s Ratings

#1) Lost Land of Jur 120,302 (Self published on Kindle)
#2) Jur: A Story of Pre Dawn Earth 132,549 (NTD)
#3) Guns of The Black Ghost 294,100 (Self published on kindle)
#4) Bad Moon Rising 403,298 (Self published on Kindle)
#5) Drums of Jur 591,140 (Self published on Kindle)
#6) The Black Shadow 617,899 (Self published on Kindle)
#7) The Soul Stealers 986,134 (Self published on Kindle)

Sadly, that’s it this time; only seven titles are still rated fairly high on Amazon. As has been common lately, it’s the Kindle editions that are moving in better volume. I am tickled that three of the Jur novels are still highly rated. I remember when Jur: A Story of Pre Dawn Earth stayed at #2 at Fictionwise for several months. Unfortunately, the publisher I was with at the time never paid us a cent in Royalties, and I know Fictionwise was paying them (sigh). It was one of those things where the publisher took off for lands unknown, taking the money owed to authors, editors, and artists. Believe me, there is something to be said for self publishing!

  1. Hello Tom:
I think you're right. By self publishing it's only you and no other tangled webs to deal with. I've got two novels almost finished and I do believe I'll try that route for at least one of them.
Black Labs are nice dogs. I've known several of them.
    Have a Great Day!!!

  2. Thanks John, be sure to let us know when your books are released. Yes, I prefer a hard copy to eBook editions, but these Kindel books are selling pretty good for me.
