Bush pilot, Jack Richards, seeking adventure, steps
through the time portal, taking him back a hundred and fifty
million years to the Jurassic period where he encounters
terrible dinosaurs, horrific beasts, and wild savages.
After Jack rescues Mai Ling, another time traveler,
she is recaptured and carried off to an ancient city. Jack must
trail the savages and rescue the girl once more, since he now
knows he has fallen in love with her.
Their quest is filled with many dangers as they search for the fabled domed
city of the First Ones. If they can survive, the domed city offers a way
home for Mai Ling, even though Jack Richards does not wish to leave Jur.
